Our story

Our story

Why we started it ?

We are an artisan bakery specialising in making bread, confectionery, cakes, and pastries for Hotels, Guest Houses, Restaurants, Conferences, Wholesale and Retail trades. Our pastry chefs, who are both from France, are artisans and artists who fell in love with the “Mother City” the first time they set foot in Cape Town and thought it would be great to bring a little taste of Paris to this beautiful city. A taste that can only be reproduced by marrying their French techniques with genuine local ingredients from the Cape. With their creative side and a sense of precision, our duo team of Executive Chefs  – Serena and Fabien make all sorts of entremets, freshly baked pastries, and confectionery. Our delicious handmade delicacies will carry you through the day, from the first-morning croissant to afternoon tea pastries, cakes, scones, and beautifully boxed celebratory cakes and late-night snacks for midnight feasters. Our bakery is based on maintaining high standards, recognizing new trends in the market, and applying them to our extensive range of products.
